With push and pull levers for hands and feet to lift its steel bars up and forward, this hand-forged go cart digs into the ground to drag and push you along, not unlike a gondolier on land.

Much of my early work could have been quite dangerous with its sharp edges and blades of hardened steel – painted in bright primary colours to look like children’s playground pieces. In a safety conscious world, I wanted to challenge perceptions with the juxtaposition of play and danger.
