Big Bloody Water Things

Client: Livid Festival
Materials: aluminium, flexible waterhose, pump, fibre optics, concrete control gear
Features: giant sprinklers, timed to go off every fifteen minutes
Completed: 1996

Every 15 minutes the work would spray high pressure jets of water on the crowd for two minutes. After the third cycle the crowd had worked out the timing and would start to gather just before they went off.
